Ahnalisse Kaye

Assistant Director

Violin & Viola

I teach because every musician needs to know they are valuable in each of their musical capabilities.

A teacher at heart, Ahnalisse offers every student the perfect combination of smiles and sweat. She prides herself in enhancing the talent of her students, and has motivated hundreds of advancing musicians throughout her career.

She brings the best out of her students by teaching them to see past their music stands and into the lives of those who inspire them. She began teaching violin when she was 13 years old and for the past 15 years has expanded herself to teaching all 4 instruments in the Viol Family: violin, viola, cello and bass.

She studied Violin Performance at Snow College under the inspired mentorship of Brent Smith and Jack Ashton where she was awarded the opportunity to solo in award-winning-composer Kurt Bestor's 2011 concert series. She spent 6 years studying String Pedagogy with Janice McAllister and Deborah Monday (Directors, Logan City Orchestra Program, and Authors of the Strings Extraordinaire! series), as well as James McWorther and Patty Bartholomew (Directors, Mountain West String Academy).  Ahnalisse has had the privilege of mentoring both in her private Studio and within organizations such as The Mountain West String Academy, Williamsburg Academy, The Chamber Music Project and The Logan City Orchestra Program. Now, with her beloved husband and children she is enjoying the red dirt of St. George, Utah as the Assistant Director for Resonance School of Musicianship and 1st violinist in the Southwest Symphony.
